About the Wine Maker
A real hidden gem in Burgundy. Coudray-Bizot is a tiny domain with only five red wines and one white wine. Jean-Jacques (cousin of Jean-Yves Bizot) vinifies in large foudres after which the aging takes place in barrel. What sets this domain apart from the rest is that Jean-Jacques only markets the wines when he considers them mature enough. As a result, there are always beautifully aged Coudray-Bizot wines available.
