Woman in Charge
The house of Pierre Moncuit is based in Le Mesnil sur Oger, one of the most beautiful towns in the Champagne area. Pierre Moncuit has built a solid reputation over the years as a quality producer. His daughter Nicole leads the house since 1977, and she strives to achieve an optimal balance between the continual improvements and traditions of generations past, respecting the terroir and vineyards.
Subtle Fruit and Balanced
One of their champagnes is the Rosé Grand Cru, made of Pinot Noir (20%) from Ambonnay and Chardonnay (80%) from Mesnil. It’s relatively pale in color, but holds the flavors in a tautly defined structure, retaining the incisiveness and delicate poise of Le Mesnil. The finish is fresh and fragrant, supported by firm acidity and a brisk chalkiness, and its lively balance invites you to drink more of it. This wine with subtle aromas will be appreciated for aperitif and with red fruits desserts.
