About the Wine Maker
Family wine-growing estate currently run by Philippe, who started operating in 1979. But it was not until 1992 that he fully took over the estate following the retirement of his father Michel. With the arrival of Benoit, in August 2015, and Elodie, in January 2018, children of Philippe, it is the 5th generation that joins the family domaine. 
Today, the estate extends over an area of ​​14 hectares comprising 16 different appellations, mainly old to very old vines. They practice the lutte raisonnée viticulture, to protect the terroir and delicate vines. The delicacy and refinement can also be found in Gavignet’s wines. Yet this domaine remains one of Burgundy’s hidden secrets.
