Tasting Notes
The wine is tight, so no plummy and sweet summer rosé commonly drank at barbeques or at the beach ; this wine presents itself best between 10 and 12 degrees, but at higher temperatures (12-15 degrees) the typical Pinot Noir red fruit profile comes out. The intensity and warmth develops for a long time in the mouth. The wine can perfectly be paired with dishes such as a summer salad, skewered meats and the traditional side of beef. This is a vinous rosé that doesn't necessarily needs to be consumed very young.
About the Wine Maker
Mongeard-Mugneret is a classic domain in Vosne-Romanée that is mainly known for their premium Premier Crus and Grands Crus. However, their ‘less exclusive’ wines are certainly worth tasting as well. Mongeard-Mugneret proves that a good winemaker – famous for his top wines – can distinguish himself with his 'easily accessible wines'.
