Tasting Notes
This rosé wine is quite special. This rosé is made of the Pinot Noir grape, mainly used for red wines. Bart’s grand father was in 1919 among the first in the region to produce this type of wine. Mainly because the market for reds, usually more expensive, was virtually non-existent after World War One. But selling rosé allowed him to stay afloat. This wine possesses fresh acidity also found in the red wines of the region. The wine is tight, so no plummy and sweet summer rosé commonly drank at barbecues or at the beach; this wine presents itself best between 10 and 12 degrees.

About the Wine Maker
Martin Bart started this domain after the division of the legendary domain Clair-Daü. Today, he is assisted by his nephew, Pierre, who is widely regarded as one of the young Burgundy talents.
With its enormous aging potential, these classic, terroir-driven wines are great investments for collectors.
