Tasting Notes
Nice, complex champagnes with expressive flavours extracted from the Pinot Meunier grapes: in the nose a combination of warm tones of plum and honey mineral notes, with hints of violet. On the palate: compote and honey. The structure is harmonious, just like the musical compositions the champagne grew up listening to.
About the Wine Maker
The Loriot family, 12th generation wine makers since 1675, reside in Festigny on the Côte Meunier, an area southwest of Reims where the Pinot Meunier grape flourishes. Michel Loriot decided from a young age to be a musician, an ambition not exactly supported by his father and grandfather. Music was deemed a hobby, but his vocation was going to be that of wine maker. Luckily for us, he found a way to combine the best of both worlds, by making music an integral part of his vineyards and vinification process.
