Tasting Notes
Youthful and powerful appearance. Spiced nose with citrus and white fruits. Beautiful minerality with a long finish. Reminiscent of a good Meursault village wine!
About the Wine Maker
In 2018, Morgan Truchetet, along with his wife Pauline and sister Julie, took over his father's domain in 2018. Since then, they have taken a completely different approach; conversion to Bio, manual cultivation of the land, focus on quality instead of quantity, and an active way of marketing. Truchetet makes fantastic wines from small plots in old to very old vineyards. Morgan is tipped by Winehog.org as one of the great new talents in Burgundy.
This is the inaugural vintage of Saint Romain from Pauline Truchetet's reclaimed family vineyard.
