Tasting Notes
Rich flight golden yellow, Lush and seductive in scent with honey, apricots and a hint of noble rot. Hugely broad, rich and complex in taste, extravagant nectar full of floral honey, quince, pineapple, vanilla toast with rag ne acids and an attractive hint of botrytis in the aftertaste. High flavour extract with phenomenal length. Aged for 18 months in 50% new oak barrels.
About the Wine Maker
With a heritage of over 200 years, and nine generations, Château Haut-Bergeron is the story of one of the oldest families in Sauternes. Haut-Bergeron is characterised by gourmet, rich and balanced wines. In recent years, dry white and red wines have been added to the collection.
Despite its historic side, the château regularly updates the production methods to improve quality and tackle new challenges, such as the protection of the environment.
