About the Wine Maker
Located in an impossibly small street in Pomerol - the Impasse Boënot - lies this vineyard of just half a hectare. Here, Jean-Claude Musseau - who is well in his 80s - grows his vines to make his Clos Boëno Pomerol in very small quantities. But only in good years, because he finds years such as 2013 (wet) and 2017 (frost damage) not of sufficient quality to make his wines.
You can enjoy Clos Boëno at a young age. However, with a bit of patience to let the secondary and tertiary aromas mature, an even more brilliant wine awaits!
