Tasting Notes
Pure on the fruit, minerality with razorsharp acidity wrapped in a thin layer of honey.
Of this wine, only two or three barrels are made per year. And these are no oak barrels; they are barrels made of acacia wood. This gives a unique mild structure to the wine.
The wine was purely intended to be consumed by family and friends. However, at Le Vineur we managed to get an allocation of (only) 90 bottles.
About the Wine Maker
In 2015, when Alexis made his first vintage at the age of 21, he was immediately on Decanter magazine’s radar. Alexis works biodynamically, showing a fresh, clean style with lots of citrus notes balanced with a honey layer in the finish. These are highly drinkable, refreshing wines that offer great value.
