This Bourgogne Pinot Noir comes from the lieu-dit Les Chaillots, an old plot on the Premeaux-Prissey side of Nuits Saint Georges where the soils are clayey-silty.
The nose reveals dark fruits, slighty spicy. Beautiful structure, rich and concentrated with round and souple tannins. With an ageing potential of 6-8 years.
About the Wine Maker
In 2018, Morgan Truchetet, along with his wife Pauline and sister Julie, took over his father's domain in 2018. Since then, they have taken a completely different approach; conversion to Bio, manual cultivation of the land, focus on quality instead of quantity, and an active way of marketing. Truchetet makes fantastic wines from small plots in old to very old vineyards. Morgan is tipped by Winehog.org as one of the great new talents in Burgundy.
